Out of Space, Out of Place is a dual-channel video installation that seeks to examine the local extent of urban development at the expense of biodiversity conservation efforts in Singapore. Urban and natural landscapes are placed side-by-side in an attempt to compare these two spaces. Taking an observatory stance, the work glances at the boundary drawn between conversion and conservation.
